Gamefroot

Three weeks ago a teacher named Mrs Torrie came in and showed us a site named Gamefroot. It is a site for coding and playing games and I am coding one. It's not finished because I need to do the immovable objects and the collectables that you get to win. It takes a long time to code. Please can you give me some feedback on how to improve. I enjoyed creating the obstacles.

I found it tricky to code the character because you had to do the up arrow, the down arrow, the left arrow and the right arrow.

Next time I would change the background because it zooms in too close and stretches the background when the character jumps.

June Reflection

 Today I was doing my June reflection. I had to say what I was doing for  reading and maths. I also had to send a slide to someone in the class so they could give a compliment. I had to tell how much points my group have this month. I had to put a photo in but I didn't get to do that because I wasn't focusing on my work and I was talking to my friends

I enjoyed filling in the reading  and maths box.

I found it tricky to take a picture of the june reflection.

Next time I would change my reading  box.

Financial Literacy

 This week a man named Callum from Asb taught us about money he also taught us about   CASH c stand for clear clear means make it clear what your goal is.A stands for action it means do what you need to do to get the money.S means save if you see something you really want and its not your goal don`t get it so you can save to get what you want more then that. H means how long it could be a year a week even a month till you get what you want. Callum also taught us SSS the first s means strengths what are you interested in or are good at if your good at doing something do it.The second s means solve solve means find out what you`re going to do.The last s means start start means get starting money from doing stuff for your parents or neighbourhood jobs once you have that money get supplies from the stores or supermarkets  

Perseus Characteristics

For this week me and my group have been learning to infer. Infer means when you`re reading a book and it has the clue but not the answer. My group and I are also describing the characteristics of a demigod named Perseus. His dad is Zeus the god of lightning. His mum is a princess named Danae. The king of a different island wanted to marry Danae but she didn't want to so he sent Perseus on a quest to kill Medusa.

I  enjoyed  making the slide.

I found it challenging to infer his characteristics because we had to keep reading the story again to find more characteristics. It helped when I got together with my group and the teacher because we discussed it and got ideas from each other.

Next time I will change what he is like and find other things that are about his character.

Why are giraffes so tall?

This week my learning intention for writing was to use a diagram . A diagram helps the reader understand what you are explaining. e had to label our diagram and explain it.

I wrote about giraffes. I used my diagram. I thought giraffes would be interesting. It was interesting to learn about giraffes. I found some pretty crazy facts. I found out how giraffes sleep. Even how they eat grass. It's pretty cool to learn about giraffes.

I enjoyed gathering information.

I found it challenging to find out what to write about.

Next time I will explain my diagram.

Todoroki sketch

For a few week's my class and I have been doing anime sketch's  we got to choose which anime character we sketched and I chose a half hot half cold guy named Todoroki his super power's are on his left side he can use ice and on his right side he can us fire.I really enjoyed choosing which character. I found it challenging to draw the picture of Todoroki.Next time I would change the detail and add the red mark.My learning object shows I can sketch Todoroki

 

Sheriff dorito

This week I had to make a sprite we could choose what to do as long as it wasn't copyright. I choose a Dorito but its not just an ordinary Dorito it's Sheriff Dorito, "he catches criminals cheese handed" he runs from humans because they are trying to eat him.

I really enjoyed making up Sheriff Dorito because I thought it would be funny to make a sheriff out of a dorito.

I found it challenging to draw Sheriff Dorito.
