Today for maths my teacher gave me a times table chart it was really hard to do it at first but I managed to do it in the end.I enjoyed watching the video that tells you how it works.I found it challenging to make the chart. My digital learning object shows I can make a times table chart. Next time I would change how far the times tables go.

Dia dhuit Jake,
ReplyDeleteThis chart will be very useful for learning your times tables. Do you think you could colour it in like the video showed you? Then it will help you learn your times tables by using the commutative property. That means 9x3=3x9. So really, once you know the basic times tables there aren't many others you need to learn.
Remember for the 8x, we double our 4x, and for 9x we just take one lot off the 10x.
Keep practising your times tables. How did you go in the Kahoot?
Mā te wā,
Mrs Naden

ReplyDeleteI was so excited to see your multiplication blog today! You have done a great job and I bet you learnt heaps by doing it too. What I like most about your blog today is that even though it was really hard to do, you stuck at it and completed it! That is a massive achievement Jake, I'm really proud of your efforts. Tino pai!
I look forward to visiting your learning task on your blog tomorrow.
Ma te wa
