Word Cloud

 Todays R.E. task was word cloud we had to put words that describe Mary into a word cloud.so I did that I started with some of them that you would know like peaceful dove and quiet light. I decided to make the shape a love heart

I enjoyed choosing the shape because there were several shapes that looked cool.

I found it challenging to find words because there are lots of words to choose from about Mary.

Next time would change the words because there are more then the ones I chose.

Lockdown Robot

 This week my class and I were learning to infer. Infer means you make a well informed guess like if you saw your friends mum outside you would infer that your friend is at your house. My class had to make a robot we had to make it out of boxes lego and draw it.You so had to name it my one was named suck bot delta 2021.

I enjoyed making my robot because I uniquely made it sitting down and charging.

I found it challenging to find the parts for the robot because I made it out of boxes and toilet rolls.

Next time I would change what I make it out of because it will be interesting to make it out of something else like lego to draw it.

This week my group and I were learning to paragraph. Our success criteria was I had to stick to one topic. My first sentence was my topic sentence. I have added 2-3 supporting details and my last sentence was my concluding sentence.

I enjoyed finding facts about Lisa Carringtons life.

I found it tricky find facts about Lisa Carrington´s family because not much is known about her family.

Next time I would change the athlete I am writing about because I think it would be cool to learn about different athletes.

Lisa Carrington is 32 year old canoe sprinter. The first Olympics she went to was the 2012 Olympics.Lisa Carrington went to Whakatane High School. After graduating she went to Massey University. Lisa Carrington Got into kayaking because when she was little her dad took her to a kayaking camp even though she didn´t know what K1 paddling even was or if it was a competitive sport.

Family

Lisa Carrington´s parents are Pat and Glynis Carrington.Lisa Carrington has two brothers named Shaun and Brett Carrington. Brett Carrington is the Cfo of a toyota finance.Lisa carrington´s fiance is Michael Buck. He works as a senior manager at Queensland.

Kōwhai

This week my group and I were learning to summarise. Summarise means you say the main point of the topic but in your own words.The class had to summarise a healing plant. My healing plant was Kōwhai. If you research enough you can see kōwhai helps with multiple things. In my opinion I think it's a really cool plant - how about you?

I enjoyed finding facts about kōwhai because once you find out enough you think it's really helpful.

I found it tricky to find out how it helps because it kept on coming up with the wrong thing.

Next time I would change what plant I´m learning about because I think it would be cool to learn about other plants.

Japan Information

This week my class and I were learning how to skim and scan. When you are skimming and scanning you're reading fast while trying to find the clue. 

We were reading a Japan book it was about culture and some rules in Japan. There were traditions and also how they invented the Laptop, the walkman, and the Jetski. I think Japan is a really cool and fascinating culture if you get learn about it.

I really enjoyed creating a slide.

I found it tricky to research facts because sometimes I spelt things wrong.

Next time I would change the slides because there was just that little extra that I could have done.

NZ olympic mascot

 for two days we have been making our  own NZ mascots my mascot is called cool kiwi I based it off of the olympic games. Then fused it with our native animal. We had to draw with a site called chrome canvas I even added the olympic rings and the New Zealand flag first i put the head and the beak. Then I put the torso with I love NZ.
