 This week we were learning to identify the main points. We had to make a feather with words that are similar to peace me and my friends came up with this feather.I found it easy to type down the words.I found it challenging to find the words to type down. Deep Ark 6

 This week for reading  we were learning how to hypothesize. I did it with charlie and we were reading deep ark 6. The book is about the polar caps melting and the whole world went into a flood. So they have to live under water. Theres these different facilities with animals and deep ark 6 is venomous spiders and snakes.

I found it easy to type the introduction.

I found it challenging to type the key events that build suspense.

zombie apocalypse

 This week my class got into groups my group is Jakob R Michael and Braden we were getting into groups because we were trying to survive a zombie apocalypse for a project we were trying to see if we would survive each day. Each day it got harder and harder to survive I think that I survived would you survive do you think that I survived.I enjoyed filling the slides. I found it challenging to find out how to survive.  Today I did my september reflection I had to fill in these boxes with questions and put in my september selfie it was fun to do this september reflection.I enjoyed my september selfie. My speech

 A couple weeks ago we started working on a speech that we had to say in front of the class we finished doing that so we decided to say it to you. My speech was saying that mr wolf is not guilty of first degree murder I think that he is not guilty but that's only my opinion I want to know what your opinion is. I found it challenging to find evidence on my topic. Aotearoa place names

 This week for cybersmart Mrs Torrie came in and told us to pronounce place names. I chose Kaiti because its a local place name and we had to do that. I found it challenging to find a place to do.I found it easy to say taupo. Next time I would change the word I use. My digital learning object shows I can say maori place names.

Te wiki o te reo maori

This week for maths we were learning about shapes and their names in Maori. We were doing a scavenger hunt and before that we did a Te Reo quiz  it was really  fun to do for Maori language week and I think you will as well click on the link for the te reo quiz I found it challenging to find the shapes. No girls allowed

This week for reading we were learning how to identify the characters and/or authors point of view. We were reading no girls allowed and this what my group and I were thinking unfortunately we didn't get to finish because we were just talking.I found it challenging to to tell the reasons they said their answers. is Mr wolf guilty or not guilty?

 For the past two days my class and I have been learning to write persuasive language we were thinking if the big bad wolf is guilty or not. I personally think that he is not guilty because he is an animal its an animals instinct to eat its prey.

Times Table Chart

 Today for maths my teacher gave me a times table chart it was really hard to do it at first but I managed to do it in the end.I enjoyed watching the video that tells you how it works.I found it challenging to make the chart. My digital learning object shows I can make a times table chart. Next time I would change how far the times tables go.

Nature art

 Today for my art I  had to make a sculpture first I grabbed some bricks from my backyard then I got a log from my dads work. I enjoyed making the sculpture.I found it challenging to find the pieces for the sculpture. Next time I would change the things I use to make the sculpture. Truth and Faith

 Today my R.E. task was to make a word cloud about the synonyms for for truth and faith there were not that much words for truth and faith but I managed to do it.I enjoyed making the word cloud.  Today my reading task was to watch a video on Maui's hook and then use legos a digital learnings site or a sketch. Today I was learning to apply knowledge. I had to type down five facts about dogs. I watched and read some stuff about dogs. like how they smell and what they see.Dogs are really interesting when you get to know them. What do you think about dogs

 Today my lockdown task was to camouflage and then reveal myself. So that's what I did I hid in a spot where no one would figure out.Then revealed myself.I think people would never guess tell me if you recognised me in this video.

Word Cloud

 Todays R.E. task was word cloud we had to put words that describe Mary into a word cloud.so I did that I started with some of them that you would know like peaceful dove and quiet light. I decided to make the shape a love heart

I enjoyed choosing the shape because there were several shapes that looked cool.

I found it challenging to find words because there are lots of words to choose from about Mary.

Next time would change the words because there are more then the ones I chose.

Lockdown Robot

 This week my class and I were learning to infer. Infer means you make a well informed guess like if you saw your friends mum outside you would infer that your friend is at your house. My class had to make a robot we had to make it out of boxes lego and draw it.You so had to name it my one was named suck bot delta 2021.

I enjoyed making my robot because I uniquely made it sitting down and charging.

I found it challenging to find the parts for the robot because I made it out of boxes and toilet rolls.

Next time I would change what I make it out of because it will be interesting to make it out of something else like lego to draw it.

Kōwhai

This week my group and I were learning to summarise. Summarise means you say the main point of the topic but in your own words.The class had to summarise a healing plant. My healing plant was Kōwhai. If you research enough you can see kōwhai helps with multiple things. In my opinion I think it's a really cool plant - how about you?

I enjoyed finding facts about kōwhai because once you find out enough you think it's really helpful.

I found it tricky to find out how it helps because it kept on coming up with the wrong thing.

Next time I would change what plant I´m learning about because I think it would be cool to learn about other plants.

Japan Information

This week my class and I were learning how to skim and scan. When you are skimming and scanning you're reading fast while trying to find the clue. 

We were reading a Japan book it was about culture and some rules in Japan. There were traditions and also how they invented the Laptop, the walkman, and the Jetski. I think Japan is a really cool and fascinating culture if you get learn about it.

I really enjoyed creating a slide.

I found it tricky to research facts because sometimes I spelt things wrong.

Next time I would change the slides because there was just that little extra that I could have done.

NZ olympic mascot

 for two days we have been making our  own NZ mascots my mascot is called cool kiwi I based it off of the olympic games. Then fused it with our native animal. We had to draw with a site called chrome canvas I even added the olympic rings and the New Zealand flag first i put the head and the beak. Then I put the torso with I love NZ. Three weeks ago a teacher named Mrs Torrie came in and showed us a site named Gamefroot. It is a site for coding and playing games and I am coding one. It's not finished because I need to do the immovable objects and the collectables that you get to win. It takes a long time to code. Please can you give me some feedback on how to improve. I enjoyed creating the obstacles.

I found it tricky to code the character because you had to do the up arrow, the down arrow, the left arrow and the right arrow.

Next time I would change the background because it zooms in too close and stretches the background when the character jumps.

June Reflection

 Today I was doing my June reflection. I had to say what I was doing for  reading and maths. I also had to send a slide to someone in the class so they could give a compliment. I had to tell how much points my group have this month. I had to put a photo in but I didn't get to do that because I wasn't focusing on my work and I was talking to my friends
